Wedding Gift Boxes

Wedding gift boxes can be purchased at any bridal boutique, as well as online at various web sites.  You can find boxes for wedding gifts in a wide array of styles, designs and “themes”.  Wedding boxes can be “glamorous” and “frilly” or they can be found in simple and “cute” styles.  I have found some wedding boxes that are of hexagon shape, covered in white lace and white or silver ribbons, as well as boxes that are designed to look like a tuxedo for the groom (or best man) and boxes designed to look like wedding gowns (for the bride, her bride’s maids or the bride’s mother).  The “bride and groom” style boxes can ALSO be used for guest door prizes, as well.

I mentioned that wedding gift boxes can be found on various web sites, online; some web sites that I have found are www.americanbridal.com, www.weddingshop.theknot.com, www.exclusivelyweddings.com and www.weddinggiftboxes.org.  If you WOULD, however, prefer to shop at local area stores, you can try David’s Bridal, Walmart, Sears, JCPenney, local privately own bridal shops or local area gift shops and florists.  On average, wedding boxes generally cost anywhere from around $20 to about $50 or more, depending on the style and design of the boxes that you choose.  To browse other web sites, other than the ones that I have mentioned, you can do a simple web site search by using search engines, such as Google, Bing or Yahoo.

When searching for the right wedding gift boxes to purchase, make sure that you actually “shop around”, for just the right boxes, for the theme (if there IS one) of the wedding or wedding party the gifts will be a part of.  For instance, if the color scheme of the wedding party is white with pink flowers and silver ribbons, you may rather purchase wedding favor boxes that are closer to matching those colors, as opposed to purchasing boxes that are “sky blue” and “sea-foam green”.  You also want to compare prices of the boxes that you are looking to purchase, to the different styles, types and places of purchase.  I have found that you can easily find wedding boxes to be “made yourself”, as well; simply search online for “how-to” web sites or visit your local library and check out books on the subject.

As already mentioned, you will want to shop around, to find the exact prices that you want to spend for wedding gift boxes, as well as the styles and designs available on the market, for sale.  If you visit your local gift stores and bridal shops and don’t find what you’re looking for, take ideas from different designs, putting them “together” to make your own designs.  This will give a more “personable” touch to the gift boxes that you make as well as add a certain bit of “you” to the gift, itself!
